When events in the world take a negative and uncertain turn, the voices of truth-telling and empathetic leaders are desperately needed. We become channels for the messages people really need to hear from Mother Earth.
My guest today, Emma Zeck turned a moment of self-expression into a viral message helping the world make sense of this crisis.
What lessons can we learn from her? How do we make sense of what’s happening in the world and what can we do to be of help or service?
In this episode, I’m joined by Emma Zeck, a writer, spiritual teacher, mystic, trauma survivor and recovery coach. She shares how she’s using her creativity to help make sense of these times, as she gives us a powerful live reading of her poems.

The right message will resonate
If we’re tapped in and doing this work to help the world in a way that’s diligent; and on behalf of the planet, people are going to resonate with it and our messages will go far.
The microcosm is always a metaphor for the macrocosm
What’s happening is a wake up call to us as a society, but any change will start at the individual level. If we let capitalism die and all these other systems die within us first, that’s when they die on a global scale. Our external reality is a reflection of our internal reality.
Being awake means being aware
Many spiritual business owners would like to avoid the news, but it’s important for us to be at least a bit politically aware. Ignorance can potentially be spiritually bypassing because we need to be able to use our privilege to help other people who are struggling.
